7 Microprompts for Sorcery

I’ve been away from any from any extended work on “The Stars Went Out” for a bit, and I already miss the magic. Speaking of magic, Mozart’s “Eine Kleine Nacthmusik” was finished on this day about 200 years ago.

We writers don’t usually make things that people remember for 200 years, but I like to think that’s just because we just ensorcell everyone with such stunning creative ideas the world can only remember them subconsciously. So take the chance to cook up some sorcery with this week’s writing prompts, however you’d like to use them!

  • A body missing
  • In the aether
  • Under stars and swords, pull away
  • Progeny
  • In her castle
  • Inside of her hated
  • A staying hand
